#1 - Building your system of creativity

Marco Johanning

Hello everyone!

Welcome to my first-ever newsletter! Every Saturday I’ll be sending out a quick, value-packed newsletter. It contains tips to boost your productivity with the help of ai and healthy habits.

At the end of each newsletter I'll include some infos about the biggest financial opportunity of our time: crypto.

In between, you'll also find a bit of my ai-art and my favorite prompts for ChatGPT.

Prompt of the week

My favorite prompt by far is “write in good and a bit cool English: ”. As a non-native speaker, like myself, the advantage is obvious. After the colon, you can mix different languages and create a wonderful text.

And with the instruction “a bit cool”, you make it perfect for everyday communication. I experimented with this a lot.

Even for native speakers, this prompt can be useful because you can simply type out your thoughts without worrying about spelling or punctuation. The sentences don't even have to be complete. In the end, you get a perfect text.

And if you're not entirely happy with it, just type “another way” and the same text will appear in a rephrased form.

Building your system of creativity

There is a system behind every great success. No matter what you do, whether you're an author, running a business or anything else, having a system is crucial to being creative and creating things. Almost no successful person relies on chance.

Developing your personal system, tailoring it to your current circumstances and goals, and continually refining it should be one of your top priorities.

Inspirationbank

The first step in this system is finding inspiration. Actively seek out role models in the area where you want to improve and read their books, tweets, subscribe to their newsletters, listen to their podcasts, and watch their videos. There's a suitable medium for every life situation.

For example, I try to follow the rule sunlight before screenlight and don't use digital media for the first part of my day, instead I read books. Then I dive into a Twitter list and newsletters from selected people. During this inspiration phase, I write down all the ideas that come to mind.

Be very selective about how you spend your time, because quality input leads to quality output, while poor input leads to poor output.

Start more books, quit most of them.

James Clear (Author of Atomic habits)

A part of my personal inspiration for this first newsletter comes from the podcast interview of Tim Ferris with James Clear. And, of corse, a huge shoutout to NFT_GOD (website), who not only gave me the tip to this interview but also taught me everything about writing newsletters and on twitter so far. I highly recommend his community, the 1% club, to everyone.

Ideabank

It's important to keep all your notes in one place. The tool doesn't really matter. What matters is that the time between having an idea and saving it is as short as possible. The smaller the hurdle, the more ideas end up in the bank.

Personally, I use Notion because I can access it from both my phone and computer. Additionally, I use a physical notebook that I use during times when I stay away from screens. Every morning, I transfer these notes into my idea bank.

With the combination of Inspiration and Ideas, you can create your personal system of productivity and creativity that will open up entirely new possibilities.

Crypto: Make it a priority to educate yourself until 2024!

Let me end my first newsletter with a word on crypto. Many of us, including myself, are anticipating a major bull run in 2024/2025. So, there's still plenty of time to educate yourself on the rules, opportunities, and risks of this market.

I'll cover all the important topics in this newsletter over the next few months that are crucial to making life-changing money within a year.

The possibilities are phenomenal. Just this week, I came across a coin that skyrocketed 400x (40900%) from my entry at its peak ($MONG) - so far. Of course, I realized some profits along the way, so I will end up with a 30-40x return.

These opportunities will be much easier to catch during the bull run. Stay tuned to this topic, it will pay off.

With my best regards and wishes, I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
